Pricing

For a five-person team paying month to month, Housecall Pro Essentials ($189) costs less than Jobber Connect ($199) or Grow ($299). On annual billing, Essentials and Connect are both $149 a month.

Housecall Pro keeps recurring service plans, sales proposals and route optimisation for Max, which is $299 a month billed annually ($329 monthly) for eight users. Jobber keeps optional line items on quotes and job costing for Grow.

Offline use

Housecall Pro's own help centre says that editing without a connection is not supported: technicians can view jobs they opened while online. Jobber added offline forms, visit notes and time tracking in March 2026, according to its product update page. Neither documents how conflicting offline changes are resolved.

QuickBooks

Jobber's QuickBooks Online sync runs one way, and its help centre says that invoices only sync once, so later edits do not follow. Housecall Pro connects to QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop from the Essentials plan.

Best fit

Jobber fits if you use QuickBooks Online and want route optimisation and a client hub on a mid-priced tier. Housecall Pro fits if you use QuickBooks Desktop, or want consumer financing and marketing tools in the same product.
